Efficiency is the ability of a political system to achieve goals and solve problems, and efficacy is the optimal use of resources and greater productivity in achieving the goals. Effectiveness is the degree of achievement of predetermined goals and it is the result of system performance. Efficiency is the basis of the government's authority and legitimacy and is associated with various components and indicators such as dialogue, democracy, freedom, law, transparency, accountability, coping with corruption, scientific approach, wisdom, balance, etc. The present research aims to explain the concept of making the government more efficient in the 2024 presidential election debates from the perspective of the candidates. The sample size includes 21568 words, which is equal to the statistical population. The research method is mixed and the data has been analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings show that the candidates presented a wide range of variables as efficiency indicators and they differed from each other in their attitude and perspective and in some cases had tension and conflict with each other.
